John Merwin

John Merwin was born in Phoenix and served in the US Navy before beginning his music career. He was awarded two scholarships to the University of Arizona and studied voice under Igor Gorin, world-renowned baritone. John was Principal Tenor with the Tucson Opera Company and was given a contract with the National Opera Institute in Washington, D.C. He toured extensively for 22 years performing classical and Broadway, also working with Young Audiences New York and was a judge and private coach with the Miss America Pageant for several years. John founded Bel Canto Voice Studios in 1975 where he continues to teach the art of singing and performing.

Dale Yeoman

Dale Yeoman was born in Montreal and began singing and acting in musical theatre at a young age, performing the lead in such classics as The Wizard of Oz, Snow White and Plaza Suite and directing various choral projects in English and in French. Dale also studied Business Management at McGill University and managed several businesses in technology and design, including her own art gallery and art school. Newly settled in Phoenix, she has served as judge with the National American Miss Pageant and the Miss East Valley Outstanding Teen Competition. Dale currently teaches voice to children and adults while continuing to pursue her career as a professional vocalist.(www.myspace.com/daleyeoman)
